This is the outline of my book that discusses how we commit, I mean how we keep our routine of learning English.
I talk about commitment is the key. And when we believe that we are already fluent English speakers, this mindset allows us to motivate ourselves to commit to learning English.
In my case, commitment allows me to overcome many obstacles such as failure and frustration, because the result of learning English isn't important when I try to commit to learning English. I think the process is more important because speaking English is part of my identity. So I focus on my process of learning English.
But every time I struggle with the balancing act, I mean, I struggle to balance work and learning English, even one hour of learning English is hard for me when my workload is full, so in that situation, I keep my routine for about 10 minutes or 5 minutes. This kind of flexibility is really useful.
